According to a joint announcement by the SAMR ("State Administration for Market Regulation") and the CNCA ("Certification and Accreditation Administration of the PRC") on 15 June 2018, a new certification procedure "self-declaration" were firstly introduced in China and it comes into force on 1 October 2018. This new certification procedure is avaiable for a list of selected products that are within the scope of CCC Product category. Recently, a list of by CNCA accredited test labs were invited to test the new platform, which calls CCC Product Self Declaration Conformity Information Submission System (see here). Companies in China can register for this platform. The prerequisite condition for the registration is that the company must have a place of business and legal personality in China.
